Newsflash
The news that day53 is no more probably is a shock to very few people by now.  I struggle for the words to write to tell of the adventure and blessing that was day53.  Life and ministry have called us in many directions and when I (Mike) decided to go back to school in Illinios it was final nail in the coffin at that time.

The ministry of day53 is not done.  There is still a need for this type of ministry and all the members of the band are still as comitted as ever to that mission.    We will work separately and together (if geography permits) to carry the message of Christ to those who need to hear.

The band would like to thank all of our supporters who gave so sacrifically on our behalf for the ministry to happen.  To name names would be in appropriate because someone would surely be left out to our shame.

This sounds so much like a preacher's letter that I think I need to quit until I can come up with a better way to say "thank you and goodbye for now."

Day 53 was a ministry where the message of Christ is as LOUD as the MUSIC.  And we are not ashamed of that.
