About
My current goal has brought me to Singapore. Over 9,000 miles away from the small town I come from in Upstate New York. I have left behind everything. Quitting my decent job, leaving my friends and family behind, and waving goodbye to all the pleasant amenities I have become accustomed to over the 26 years of my existence. All for a chance to live abroad. No television, private bathroom, or guarantee I can stay here past 90 days. I am here on a 90-day tourist pass. I need to get a job to obtain a work pass, which will allow me to extend my stay. What got me to this point? Well for that you will have to read my blog.
On this blog I will be covering several topics. I will discuss what led to my move to Singapore, how difficult the transition has been, my daily life here, and my current job hunt. I will talk about my previous travels. People I have met along the way, experiences I have encountered, and helpful tips I have found while traveling. I will share stories and news items I find to be interesting. Finally, I will blog about my personal life including my personal views and opinions.
Day 53 you ask? Well on my 53rd day living in Singapore I decided it would be fun to blog about my adventures. I hope to not only entertain, but also inspire and motivate others to pursue their lifetime goals. To get out of their comfort zones and take a leap towards their dreams, never looking back.
